Sandy Thorpe, principal of Blue Sky Consulting, has more than 20 years' marketing experience, working with companies worldwide. Since founding Blue Sky in 1994, she has been crafting communications strategies and plans, and producing quality deliverables for high tech leaders such as Apple, Johnson & Johnson, Hewlett-Packard Company, Cisco Systems, Logitech, Intuit, VMware, Informix, BEA, as well as for smaller companies. Wherever possible, Sandy utilizes web 2.0 technologies in executive communication deliverables, in order to enable maximize collaboration and effectiveness amongst employees, partners, and customers.

Prior to founding Blue Sky Consulting, Sandy was director of Sales and Marketing for Gale Research where she was responsible for worldwide database sales, and at various marketing functions before that. She has taught numerous sales and marketing courses at San Jose State University, Notre Dame de Namur University, and The Career Action Center. Sandy is recognized in Who's who in Marketing, Who's Who in Northern California, Who's Who of Entrepreneurs, Millennial edition, Who's Who in Executives and Business and The Executive Guild. She is a member of NAFE, BMA, and Women In Consulting (Women In Consulting.)

January 2010: Cupertino, CA: Blue Sky Consulting becomes an Apple approved vendor

Blue Sky Consulting has been added to the Approved Vendors list at Apple Inc. Blue Sky will initially be providing communications support to Apple’s IS & T department. Apple (NASDAQ APPL), incorporated in 1977, ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning computers, OS X operating system and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital media revolution with its iPod portable music and video players and iTunes online store, and has entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone.

September 2009: San Jose, CA: Replicate Technologies chooses Blue Sky as a partner for Cisco cloud work

Replicate Technologies co-founder and chief architect Ken Novak has begun producing blogs and other marketing materials for Cisco DCANS virtualization marketing group.

May 2008: Santa Clara, CA: Kammersgard Consulting chooses Blue Sky as Partner for Cisco Work

Kammersgard Consulting has chosen Blue Sky Consulting to be its work partner at Cisco Systems. As a Cisco approved vendor, Blue Sky enables contractors and consultants to offer services to Cisco that they otherwise would not be able to offer. Renate Kammersgard of Kammersgard Consulting will be providing program support in the Human Resources Department at Cisco.

 
 

April 2008: San Jose, CA: Blue Sky makes Cisco Approved Vendor List (San Jose, CA)

Blue Sky Consulting has been added to the elite Approved Vendors list at Cisco Systems, Inc. Cisco, (NASDAQ: CSCO), is the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how people connect, communicate and collaborate.
